Soot percentage

Ok guys I bought a 2019 classic with the eco diesel in it on Monday with 109942 miles on it. Check engine light comes on Thursday night showing 2 codes but repeats them multiple times P20E8 is shown 2 times on my scan tool and P20EE shows 3 times. I have put roughly 400 miles on it in that time and came here to find answers (have not found them yet). But I have seen a lot of people mentioning their soot percentage being at 71% and I have been unable to find that any ideas where I can?

Welcome to the forum - first post.

It has been almost 10 years since I had a P20EE code on my '14 Ecodiesel. It was, if I remember correctly, the DEF injector sensor. For that y9u could remove and clean the injector. No clue about the P20E8 and again, not positive I remember right about the DEF code.

Darn emission stuff is a royal PIA.

Welcome to the site Braden ,
well the Captain beat me to it ....:)
--
both P20 categories of codes are related to the injection of DEF in your SCR ,
first thing to check is the flange on the exhaust that is right next to the DEF injector ,
notorious to have bolts break , if the exhaust leak is big enough the heat burns the
wiring harness of the DEF injector , many threads on this subject on the site .

for P20E8 : something about the tube between the DEF tank and DEF injector
once reason is fixed that code will go away , may
take 10 start cycles for it to go away,
from a guy in Canada , post # 7 in here :
Just got the P20E8 Code
---
P20EE : the DEF injector may be clogged ,
here are a few threads with step by step on how to remove and clean the DEF injector :

( 2 ) : Pulled DEF injector

Right, I was going to wait on 2 year warranty to run out to delete it but might not wait anymore.
Steam clean your def injector for starters and go from there. Its a simple 1/2 hr job even taking your time.

Most dealers have the mindset to make you run around. This is why I haven't gone to the dealer for a single recall since I drove of the dealer lot with new truck. She still runs like it did on day 1 👍

not even the rear left axle ,???
you have a 2016 , when they opened mine up I did have the ones that were not heat treated properly
at the wheel bearing location ,
they put in a new one , my only expense was time to go there , and of course the ECM swaps
gotta keep my precious pre ban GDE tune .
..
the second time the deaker saw my truck it was
for the EGR cooler recall .

The rear axle recall does not show up for my 2016 built in April/2016. With nearly 250,000 kms and alot of that while towing so far so good. 👍 Also gde tuned(pre ban) I opened the hood one day to check oil and realized my egr cooler has fallen off somewhere.🤣🤣
