Just put a Century(leer) Ultra in my truck yesterday. Headliner, removable rear slider, left and right windoors, Thule roof rack track. For roughly $1700.

I prefer the older style framed rear glass with 2 knobs to the more expensive frameless single knob. In my experience the single knob type are more prone to problems.

A couple of weeks ago I ordered a basic Leer topper (100R). While waiting for it to arrive I did some preparatory accessorizing.

First. a LIne-X spray-in liner.

Then some Westin steps.

And, today, the topper. (Sharp eyed viewers may notice the replacement rail cap on the tailgate. It is a bit thicker and makes for a tight seal of the lift gate.

I have to say its amazing how much lit the single rope light adds. The wife even commented about how much easier it be to find things. I was thinking yeah, try getting your duck hunting gear out at 330 am in the snow. It will be nice. Also had the vented windoors for the dog.

Same thing as mine only different. What is different is you have that crew cab with the short bed. Kept looking at it - same color - and could not figure out why it looked so "stubby".

Actually think it looks good.

Thanks Captain, but who are you calling stubby? ; - )

I guess we are fraternal twins rather than identical twins. When I was considering whether to order a 3D and what color I actually looked at pics of your truck to get an idea of what mine would look like. I am excited about driving my first diesel vehicle as I will finally get to see it in person on 2 July.

Does anyone know which model and brand cap is on this blue Ram in the photo?
The first blue truck has a snugtop super sport-I have the same on my truck and I highly recommend it. It's more expensive than the ARE and Leer caps but it looks and feels factory. Plus, I love the keyless entry- cap and tailgate lock/unlock with the truck.

Picked up my A.R.E. CX Series last weekend!

Couple things I noticed. The "T-handle" is not a true T-handle in my opinion. They had to make it smaller to fit. I find it a bit hard to grip/turn.
I wish the LED light strip went ALL the way to the back of the truck not 3/4 of the way.
The wire mesh/screen protectors do not sit flush against the window on the back end closest to the cab (they are bowed outward quite a bit in my opinion).
The lid (when open) sticks pretty high up in the air and is hard for my wife to reach, but she had the same trouble with my old pickup truck. And my BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that the dang rear window hatch plastic tailgate lid/cap was leaking and then proceeding to drip water on my tailgate when opened. I went to an A.R.E dealer today and they installed a piece of weather stripping by removing the tailgate lid attached to the rear window hatch and then reinstalling it. I will let folks know how it works out. We did a brief water test and it appears to work. The A.R.E. dealer said that it is one of the weak design points on the rear hatch in that they did not bother to weatherstrip it from the factory.

I think the paint match turned out really good and the fit and finish were nice overall!

I have the A.R.E. with the power lock kit, one button and everything is locked up. In the past my truck cap had the key lock, and it was a pain in the ### to use in the winter. The chance of getting a key to work in January was slim to nil, and slim left town.
