2020 interior swap

I was recently researching the new 2020 HD trucks that are getting released and noticed that they only really did a facelift to the truck because the box and cab are still a 4th gen. Until they get the new assembly plants re tooled to start making the HD trucks in a full redesign.

This got me thinking for those who love the classic look of the 4th gen body but wanted a newer nicer interior I wonder if you could do a full interior swap from a wrecked 2020 hd truck and get all the new style that the new 1500s have inside.

Purely just a what if/drool over idea right now. The dash and seats and door panels and everything would fit no problem I'm sure because it's in a 4th gen cab. Just not sure about all the electrical and connections that go along with it

Would be cool to see one day but I'm sure would cost too much to justify unless you found a great deal on a wrecked truck.

I just like my 4th gen exterior, and am perfectly satisfied with my current interior (one of the reasons I went back to a ram) but would be sweet to have a 5th gen interior.

Give a like if your like me and think it would be sweet to own a 4th gen ecodiesel with a 5th gen interior

Due to the nightmare of modern vehicle electrical systems, it would be easier (and still probably cheaper) to just buy a 5th gen Ecodiesel when it comes out.

Wait until 2022. That's when the production comes back to America from Mexico.

By the time you get around to spending money, time and design to make a change, that American 2500 just may be here.
