For the mods, I'm posting this in the general forum because I couldn't figure out where to make a post about a brake issue, please move it wherever you feel it needs to go.

Like the title says, I'm having an issue where my brake pedal itself has a click or clunk to it. It's not a clunk from somewhere else in the truck, the brake pedal itself actually has a clicks or clunks under certain conditions and I can feel it in the pedal. I did a search on this forum and the RamForum and another member seemed to be describing the same issue on his 2013, but everyone kept suggesting it was something else in the truck like play in the trailer hitch, but the OP didn't reply to the thread and no resolution was posted. I also know some cars you can hear a click when the brake it pushed from the shifter lock disengaging, this definitely isn't that either, it happens at all speeds and stopped under light pressure. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I get a similar clunk from the rear end when I release the brakes pulling out from a stop sign or light. Doesn't happen all the time and it's done it since new. It just hasn't been a big enough deal for mr to take it in yet.... But I will.

Most modern brakes have few moving parts. The petal arm is hung from a clevis and a rod from the arm goes directly into the master cylinder. I would crawl under the dash and see if the petal assembly is bolted tight to its hanger. Could be that it wasn't tightened during assembly. For safety's sake, check it out right away...
