CHROME!!! no pics required

 

Have you considered polished aluminum? I really like the look of the OEM wheel to wheel plus its great to have the side bed access.

 

Are your bumpers chrome? My Limited is white and has chrome bumpers so I went with chrome runners.

 

I bought these nice aluminum, painted black, running boards, so far they are working out well, and were reasonably priced. My 2021 2500 is Tradesman white, with black bumpers, so black was the look.

I am unhappy with my OEM chrome side steps. the chrome is peeling a bit. I will probably go with a brushed aluminum when and if I replace them.

 

I had black painted running boards on my Ecodiesel, steel, many times in 3 years I had to sand and repaint rusted through areas. I hope to avoid that with aluminum.

 

Mine too, they're rusting under the chrome causing it to bubble up.

 

I went with polished from Amazon. They work great in preventing door dings and as a step to get into and out of the truck.

 

Yeah, Chrome Grill, Bumpers, Rims, Mirrors, Door handles. Chrome side steps makes the most sense. It just means your a really coordinated dude.

I like Black over Chrome any day.. But in the end it all really depends on how it ties into the truck...

 

I had the same dilemma with the whole truck went with a mix of aluminum/chrome and satin black on my 15 running boards are aluminum. I got them on amazon.
