I did happen to save some from my last change , but I have never once sent a sample for testing. Not familiar with the exact process.
Unless it's in what was a previously clean container, it's of no use.

It was a small very well washed plastic ice cream container. I cleaned and dried it very well , but not sure it is proper for this application? lol

It's very simple to do and I would recommend doing it. An oil sample will tell you if there's coolant in the oil. If you're interested, then let me know. I can walk you through the process.

Just contact Blackstone Labs. They will send you the container and mailing stuff needed. Just fill out the information about your truck and the mileage on the oil, stuff it all in the provided mailing stuff and put it in the mail.

Of course, there are those on the forum who don't like Blackstone. But I've been satisfied with them for 9 years now. Lately it's been taking them a couple of weeks to get to my sample, but other than that no problem(s).

Got truck back. The tech had it to mess with for a couple weeks.

He did every possible pressure test he could. Drove it , got it hot , tripple checked everything. He messed with it between other jobs.

Claims truck had a air pocket in coolant after the EGR replacement, hence why it went down after we picked it up last time. Supposedly no leaks found. 🤞
OPINION;
Is this bad to have had a air pocket ? Any concerns ?

Had them put a $500 MOPAR battery in it to eliminate that as a reason for the occasional stumble starts its been having.

Got U-Connect service again, which requires a device to be permanently plugged into OBD2 port. App doesn't work worth shit , spent 4 hrs on phone yesterday trying. Seems becouse I also have my 2023 PowerWagon Rebel on the app , it screws up the 2016 from working properly. Called RAM , they say it has nothing to do with them , and cannot help in any way.
They just take my money.

Here's hoping 🙏 for a problem free future !

@POHLHAMMER, let us know when you get that oil sample back. That will answer the big question. (y)
