There's options in the uConnect settings to turn on/off the setting. I believe it's called "Easy Exit" or something like that. I have noticed so differences between ECM's that have not correlation to the ECM themselves.

The radio cuts off automatically when I open the door with the stock ECM, but my GDE ECM allows the radio to continue to play for whatever the automatic cut-off is even with the door open (Like a minute or two; no big deal, but still wierd). But even it didn't do this before a uConnect update was applied when the GDE ECM was in the truck.

I think you are right it is called EASY ENTRY/EXIT SEAT, but I cannot find it in my settings on Uconnect. So I don't know if the ECM removed it from the options or what. I looked through ever single submenu in the settings.

 

 

@NPRBoy I did watch that video. It wasn't in that submenu when I first looked (I may have missed it), but I just double checked and I saw it. It is checked. I unchecked it and checked it again and it still doesn't do anything. I know it isn't too far back for it to be disabled, as I am pretty average height and when the seat was in the same place before the GDE tune it worked.

 

Hmm, I just ran into the same issue. Installed the GDE Pre EPA tuned ECM in my 2015 ED a few days ago and the Easy Exit feature no longer works. The ECM I bought was previously used in a 2014 ED but I think it was purchased/tuned in 2017.
I would think that as long as the option shows in the Settings menu then it should be available and work. I tried deselecting it, powering down (I waited for the power timeout), starting the truck, selected the option, shut the truck off, but the seat still doesn't move. The controls on the side of the seat all work properly.
If anyone has a cure for this I'd appreciate the assistance as I'm a person of "some persuasion" so the Easy Exit feature is handy. Thanks

Use the AlfaOBD app to ensure this function is enabled.
