If so, which filter part number did you use? When I went to dieselfiltersonline.com, they listed part number 68432442AB (Mopar OEM fuel complete assembly), however, the part they sent to me was 68436631AA.

I replaced my fuel filter on my 2015 ED and the part number is different then yours but they only had the new ‘AB’ which was physically shorter than the ‘AA’ that came out but no issues since November 2019. Just be carefully installing the smaller AB correctly. It won’t snap in place if you just drop it in the filter holder and then try to install the filter holder.

Dieseldragon, you bought a 2020 EcoDiesel?

The Gen 3 EcoDiesel uses the same fuel filter as the Cummins 6.7. Hopefully this will mean we'll have options in the near future that will save money.

I have a 2015 Ram Ecodiesel Laramie and used Fuel Filter Mopar 68235275AA - which fit perfectly - Do not use a Napa Filter as they are a RCH too long - resulting in diesel blown all over your shop/garage. - How do I know this you ask ?? Because I first used a NAPA filter that was an RCH too long for the housing - resulting in my taking a bath in diesel..

Before acquiring my Gen III Eco, I drove a 2016 Gen II... I did use Wix and the Napa Gold filters, both, made by Wix... never had an issue with oil or fuel filter... but, if you put the filter on the cap first, then mount the oil filter, that's maybe why you blew oil... put the filter on first, then cap over the filter and listen and feel for the snap lock... maybe that's why FCA went to a single filter cap on Gen III...
