Met the lady that owns the white Ecodiesel in this picture. She and her husband just came to South Florida from upper Michigan. I happened to pull in next to her and later spoke with her. She said they just rode 1,600 miles and watched the fuel mileage. She also told me they just loved their Ecodiesel. No issues in the nearly three years of ownership and 32,000 miles. All stock, she even confided in me that she has to put in ..."that DEF liquid".

The mileage she quoted me in the run south from upper Michigan was ... 28 mpg.

The lady did not comment on overall fuel mileage. She was only talking that ride to Florida, where there are no front plates OR inspection.

Overall I would guess I do in the 23-24 mpg range. Often tow light, sometimes heavy and can't count that 13-14 mpg time. The good fuel mileage is when not starting, stopping, idling for periods, going down dirt trails, stops, shops and putzes.

I usually average about 27 during the summer and 25-26 during the winter (south texas isn't that cold and we don't get winter blend fuel). Since I swapped ecu's I'm on my first tank 3 days and 120 miles so far and the average is sitting on 30.8 as I pulled into work this morning.

To the op, if you didn't you need to figure an adjustment for your mileage, if you didn't have your computer recalibrated and you didn't already a lot for it your getting better fuel mileage than you think because with 35 inch tires your truck is going further than your odometer/tripodometer says it is.

Mine is averaging around 22.5 to 24. Depending on temperature. Right now I let my truck warm up about 10 minutes from cold start. But I don't like to move my truck till it hits 100° when its 30 or below outside so I think that's affecting it. But still better then my last truck doing 17.8.
