TYC projector headlight issue

I put in a set of TYC projectors into my 2015. when the truck is on and i use the turn signal the lamp cuts out after a few flashes then i get an error in the truck saying it is out. but when i turn the lights on i have no issues with the turn signal what so ever. It is just the passenger side i am having issues with. Everything is grounded correctly. Just seems weird that the driver side works fine but the passenger side is causing problems. Any one with an insight be able to help?

I bought mine used, and it came with used resistors. On my passenger side I had both resistors grounded through a single self tapping screw into the frame under the headlight, and the passenger side worked great. I did the same thing on the driver side and it was doing the same thing as yours, the resistors were also pretty beat up, so i got a brand new set of resistors and grounded each resistor individually with self tapping screws and I don't know if it was the new resistors that fixed the issue or the new grounding.

I had them grounded separate from each other to start and then grounded them together. It was causing the same issue as before. I tried 2 different sets of resistors as well and still no luck. Do you have DRL's active on your truck? im almost at the point of going back to stock if i can't figure something out. im thinking it is something with the wiring on the truck.

I have automatic lights and i have 4 resistors in total. When you get the error, did you get out and actually check if the blinker stops? I found with my truck the blinker would actually stop functioning. So then i tried running the problem light without resistors, I found without the resistors I went 3 days before i got my first error, and when i did get the error, the blinker still functioned. After that I tried a new set of resistors and regrounded each resistor individually with nice self tapping stainless steel screws.

A good friend of mine who was an electrician for a while told me that 98% of the worlds problems are caused by bad grounds... I'm inclined to believe him.

Ok i have 4 resistors myself. yeah i ran the truck in the drive way and turned on the turn signal and watched it blink normal for about 4 blinks then stopped. i may try and ground them out separate from each other again and see if that causes issues. Do you remember what OHM your resistors where that you put in new? i noticed that i have 50watt9ohm resistors and im wondering if that could be a problem?
