Hi all, my 2015 ED is getting close to the end of its warranty and I have a number of issues I am taking it to the (only) local dealership in central WA state. They are pretty awful, as chronicled on some of my other posts. So I would like to buy a code reader and make sure they are actually repairing what needs repairing, as well as to see what is actually going on with my truck.

[Why would I need this when a truck under warranty should be no-brainer for a dealership to find and fix what's broken? Your guess is as good as mine but I can't trust these folks.]

So....I have read some earlier posts (like the below) and was wondering if this is still the scanner/software combo you all still recommend? Would prefer not to spend more than $100ish.

Here is the scanner I was going to buy:
OBDLink MX+ Professional OBD2 Scanner for iPhone, iPad, Android & Windows

Here is the software from the app store (I think?) TORQUE (made by Fantastic Software, $4.99 in the app store)
but I need a double check on this because there is a bunch of them

Here was one of the old posts:

Thanks in advance! andrea

There are so many OBD-2 apps with "Torque" in the name in the app store right now it's not even funny. That's probably not the right one. Please chime in the the apps you prefer, thank you.
