Post here guys!
Can you get all of the EGTs with that set up? And do you plug/unplug it each time so it doesn't drain your battery? As Crash68 said, OBD Fusion app works with Apple. I've been using the OBD Fusion app and Veepeak WIFI scanner https://www.amazon.ca/Veepeak-Scanner-Diagnostic-Adapter-Trouble/dp/B00WPW6BAE for a couple months now and they work great together.
Yes, you can get your EGT's with this set up (Veepeak & Fusion). Sounds like the last up date of Fusion had the PID's for EGT's, previous to that you had to make custom PID's for EGT's (which is what I'm still using). I don't leave mine plugged in, I just plug it in while monitoring and they unplug when not required. Can you get all of the EGTs with that set up? There is already one built in to your dashboard.I'm trying to setup a gauge for the transmission temperature. Several are listed. Is it "Transmission Temperature 1"?
Yes but it doesn't log. There is already one built in to your dashboard.
I have the same scanner... Hoping to use it on my 2016 EcoDiesel 1500 that I'm picking up from the dealer tomorrow.... How's the U-Scanner been working for you? I liked your screen shots!I have a Actron U-scanner bluetooth and its IOS software shows a number of PID's would this help yall?

No issues for me. To me it seems like you interrupted a regen and now it's waiting to reach the next threshold (80%, 90%) before the regen restarts.Using Torque Pro here, is anyones DPF % PID showing 100% and just staying there since the app was last updated?
What Buck said. If you interrupt a regen cycle it's stays at 100% till it completes the cycle. The regen has to get all the way back down to 9%(it does not count down) before it will reset. The DPF % jumps from 65% to 100% and then proceeds to regen. The truck does not go into regen until it is up to full operating temperature.Using Torque Pro here, is anyones DPF % PID showing 100% and just staying there since the app was last updated?
I've found that when a regen is interrupted, it won't start to regen again until the next threshold is reached. If you interrupt the regen at 65%, it won't start again until it reaches 80%. Unfortunately we can't monitor the progress from 65% to 80% and yes it seems to take forever to happen. The truck goes into regen when it is up to full operating temperature.
Thanks for the add on! Good to know.I've found that when a regen is interrupted, it won't start to regen again until the next threshold is reached. If you interrupt the regen at 65%, it won't start again until it reaches 80%.
I like your setup, is there a way to upload your setup for somebody else to download? You know, you do all the work then we can download and enjoy! LolWell Im mostly happy with my current Torque Pro setup View attachment 23410
With the ability to add custom PIDs(many of them listed in this thread) to the Torque App allows more points to be monitored but the Edge CTD does have the ability to force a regen.Would the torque app be just as good as the Edge Monitor?
I run mine off a dedicated Nexus 5. I kept it very simple and matches my Limited gauges fairly well. I'd be happy to send you Google Drive link to my ZIPed Torque folder. Just replace the entire folder on your device with it.Does anyone have a good template for the Torque app? I already own everything to do this. I could even purchase a cheap phone to run the app all the time.
